Avail Hosts Private Showing of Godspeed: The Race Across America

Avail Partners hosted 126 of their closest friends, clients, partners and colleagues to a private showing of Godspeed: The Race Across America emceed by the Winner of the Race Across America, Brad Cooper. What a night of inspiration and lessons learned and to be able to share it with our friends was priceless.
The movie was preceded by an intimate conversation about mental toughness by the star of the movie, Brad Cooper. Known as the “World’s Fittest CEO,” Brad has not only built successful corporations, authored four books and has numerous patents to his credit, he has competed in 11 Ironmans (4 times at Kona) and won the Race Across America in 2015. Godspeed The Race Across America documents the suffering, determination and joy of riding as day and night for 3,000 miles for a winning time of 7 Days, 14 hours and 44 minutes.
Brad discussed the exhilaration as well as the moments of doubt and pain while racing in the Race Across America (RAAM) as well as in daily personal and professional life. Continuously he ties the lessons learned while competing on a bike at the highest levels to the lessons learned in boardrooms and family rooms that all of us can relate to in our personal and professional lives.
We then spent the next 90 minutes wrapped in the visually stunning film which depicts A humble sportscaster and plane crash survivor joins forces with ultra-competitive CEO in the world's most grueling bicycle endurance race. Driven by their shared convictions, they cycle 3,000+ miles nonstop, battling opponents, extreme terrain/weather, inner demons and occasionally each other. This served with the backdrop of stunning vistas from Oceanside, California to Annapolis, Maryland.
